Where Has Time Gone...
Hi everyone,
C's time is shorty coming to end. I understand I never continued the blog but I thought I would just let you know how the whole process has gone. Well C graduates January 5th, which is less than a month away. I cannot even begin to tell you how fast this journey has gone by... I remember the first few weeks going so slow and I thought the CHP academy would never be over. Now looking back time has flown by. C has received his area assignment and of course we are moving! There was nothing even close to where we reside right now so we will be moving toward the coast about two and a half hours away from home. Since we own our home and have two pets we will be renting out our house to a family member who will care for our dogs as well. Thank God! We were so worried we would have to pay rent and a mortgage payment, although we will still have to pay out of pocket for some of the mortgage payment at least it isn't the full amount. C has passed all major test and passed high speed on his second attempt. At this point they have lost at least 15 people from high speed testing unfortunately. He has enjoyed his time at the academy and went to his area assignment this past weekend and did his first ride along which he enjoyed. I am still in awe that this whole process is coming to an end and so proud of my husband. I am so thankful he has always put me first and made an effort to talk to me everyday throughout this journey no matter what test he had the next day. Our love has grown deeper for each other and I am thankful for the CHP, for giving us such a wonderful opportunity.
