week 8
I cannot believe this week is week 8! I never thought in a million years time would fly by so quickly! The weeks are fast, the days are slow. I am just so thankful C has been enjoying this journey. My life has been hectic I started work last week and start a new course today! My life never stops. I feel like since C has left it has honestly gotten busier. I have two dogs to take care of, a house to maintain, family to visit, homework to finish, work to get done and the list goes on and on. I am just thankful I have been busy so I am not just missing C all the time.
C has been doing great. Unlike previous years where cadets were tested weekly on knowledge. Now the academy has changed. The cadets have 3 big test during their academy stay. Hence, why I haven't been posting everyday like I promised. There really isn't much to write about since they are in class most days. They did take there first big test and C passed with an 85%, he was hoping for an A but we were happy he passed and didn't have to retake it. The whole class actually passed there first time, thankfully. Let's go back to where I left off, week 5. The rest of week 5 the cadets drove and took a driving test. C passed on his second attempt sadly someone failed all 3 tries and was sent home. Currently the cadets have lost 10 people. They are down to 140 cadets, another just failed a driving course last week so he had to leave too. Another milestone the cadets faced was being tased! C said it was horrible! He sent me a video and I am such a baby because I start crying watching it, I felt bad and I didn't like seeing him in pain. Thankfully the pain is only for 5 seconds but C said it felt like 30 lol. C also had his liberty taken away week 6. He received 3 gigs and had to write a memo for it.
