Monday Week 5

Hi Everyone!

Today went by so fast! I started the day just hanging out at home and being lazy. After I went to a friends and babysat for a few hours. I absolutely love her children, I call them my brother and sister because they have literally turned into my family. After babysitting I went and drove by a house C and I went to see yesterday. It is truly our dream home. We went to the open house yesterday and we loved everything about it. It is certainly a fixer upper but we love a good challenge. We own our current home and have been doing little changes every so often so we are definitely open to another fixer upper. The house is only 5 minutes from my parents, which is the biggest plus for me! I wish it was for sale a few years from now, we are not looking into purchasing another home anytime soon. We have been in our current home almost two years, we plan on living here at least another two years. After I drove by I stopped at my parents for a bit and came home. It really sucks coming home to an empty house. I hate coming home because it really sets in C isn't here. :( Thankfully the weeks really fly by! Tomorrow is already Tuesday so just a few days away from seeing C.

C said the day was pretty laid back. They were in classes all day learning about different domains. The Cadets learned about use of force, the laws of arrest and traffic investigations. They were done for the day around 5:30 which was nice. Last week I didn't hear from him until about 7/8 so I was shocked to see him calling so early. He also said there are explorers on the grounds. (explorers are 15-21 years old men and women who are thinking of becoming a CHP officer) C said when they are on the grounds things are usually more calm. So they love it, lol..

Hopefully the rest of the week goes just as fast as today did.
